  I usually go to Caroline springs cake shop, but it was the first time I visited Melton Cheesecake Shop for a custom cake for my daughter’s birthday. I gave the order and gave full price in advance which was $119. The staff who took my order was extremely arrogant, I showed her the cake model, she took a picture of that and told to pay the full amount with no other details. I asked her what the frosting would be, what would be the cake flavor. She was very hesitant to give any of those details. Due to bad weather I had to change the party date, I immediately rang the cheesecake shop and asked if I can postpone the date or get a refund for the order. The staff who attended my call was really sweet, she told I can get the refund itself. I headed to the shop but there she was. The staff who took my order was in the reception. She told she can’t give the refund as per their policy. I told her colleague asked to take refund from the shop that day, otherwise I would just postpone the date for the same order. She didn’t even accept that or said a sorry. She was in an attack mode then. Worst customer service and experience I ever had. She even wrote in a note in our order about things we didn’t say or something that she assumed. Stay away from this staff- she is a tall lady named Aditi. When I talked to a friend about this, I came to know she too had a terrible experience from this staff where she ordered an eggless cake for her son’s cake smash and what she got was a cake with eggs. And this staff never accepted that it was an eggless cake that she ordered. But then in the receipt my friend had to show what she ordered was an eggless cake. It’s very difficult to make this girl understand.

  January first week
  I took my son birthday cake. Always we get cake from cheese cake shop but this time so disappointed

  Yesterday I took my daughters birthday cake. Always we get cake from cheese cake shop from watetgatden but this year we took it from melton.
  Cake was not good enough look was very nice but taste was really bad.
  As it was $51 cake that was really expensive for this tasteless cake.
  I will not recommend this cheesecake shop to anyone.

  We stood in the shop 10 minutes while the sales clerk cleaned the display case she looked up at us and continued to clean no acknowledgement what so ever then proceeded to serve some one eles while we stood there for service then when we got service it was at a poor standard.she was rude as anything..I definitely wouldn't recommend the cheese cake shop melton to anyone I was not happy as it was for my sons birthday...as for the product I brought was not up to standard...it was sloppy and horrible to be honest an ice cream cake from the supermarket would have been better then what we received.....
